ITT: movies ruined by blackface
Atmospheric horror movie thread
post some horror movies that are focused on creepy atmosphere/mystery and not stuff popping out
Just got around to watching this. So what exactly was the issue with the season 6 finale? Outside of the standard TWD bullshit issues. I thought Negan's introduction was great.
I agree, loved Negan's intro and the whole episode itself. I almost never post/lurk here so I'm not sure what the problem anyone has with it is. Probably the typical hipster response to anything "mainstream".
The problem was the ending itself. The entire episode was intense and a great episode but it's obvious what they're doing: waiting to see what the internets' response is before deciding who they're gonna kill off bc they're too pussy to let one of the "best" characters die.
What's the first DVD you every watched /tv/?
Do you remember?
I was about 12 and was over at my Cousins not long after Christmas. They had just got a dvd player and Fast and the Furious.
Never forgot it. I still think of my cousin every time I watch it.
This brings new power to the scene with Cameron and the painting and the theory that he is alone and Ferris is his imagination. He wants friends, he wants someone to love him.
The lyrics fit well:
"lord knows it would be the first time" (as Ferris and Sloan kiss, it could be Cameron's first kiss)
"please please please, let me get what I want..." (again playing as Ferris and Sloan are kissing. Cameron wants nothing more than to be loved)
Did I go too far with this one?
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I've seen more outrage over the death of this fictional character by SJWs and Tumblrinas than any atrocity committed against actual women in The Middle East and Africa.
I HATED this character. So f*cking offensive.
Is there a funnier man on the planet? Even his commercials are hilarious
Probably the best and most underrated reboot movie of all time.
They should have kept him in the silver suit throughout the movie. The black suit looked like shit and probably turned people away from going to see it.
Just recently started this after having never seen an anime in my life. It's really blowing me away, the themes, animation, music and concept is very cool.
Are there other animes as well done as this? Getting the feeling I have been missing out.
Legend of the Galactic heroes is good
Now with Ben-Hur getting a remake, do you think they might give this a poke and remake it with a realistic runtime so people without autism can see it? I really want to get into "classic" cinema but there is no fucking way I'm sitting down and wasting 4 hours on a single movie
>remake it with a realistic runtime so people without autism can see it?
it's the other way around you autist. This movie freaked the living shit out of me as a kid. Something about the guy going mad was unsettling.
Average human attention span is roughly 45 minutes. Most movies have a runtime of 90 minutes because that's exactly two attention span's worht of watching and you can pause it and have a snack break in between.
You literally have to be autistic to be able to sit down and watch movies in the 3-4 hour range in one sitting. I'm 90% sure this movie is chock full of pointless scenes of people walking around in the desert doing fucking nothing to pad things out.
Anybody check this out? Just saw it on Netflix and was very surprised. Was just expecting some entertaining man on the street type of comedy but it turned out to be a solid satire and have a much deeper story. Definitely on the level of Four Lions and Borat. Some of the film making threw me off, like the first person, but when I got adjusted to it I found it pretty inventive and a nice addition to the storytelling.
What is the kinó of hood movies, /tv/? (hoodkinó)
and why is it Belly
Is /tv/ excited for 30 more minutes of capekino?
