was this the first tv series that was truly kino?
>TV has ever approached kino
Awful tv show that /tv/ tricked me into downloading and watching
>>68866247
It's the only one, despite it's flaws.
>approaches blu-ray section
>looks for copy with perfect slipcase
>still looking 10 minutes later
>>68866181
>Inception shooting script
>half an inch shorter than the blu ray case
>fuck it just stick them in there with a big gap
This pisses me off and I don't even buy blu-rays
That's a pretty comfy collection you got there.
>>68866181
>not getting exclusively steelbooks
why even get physical media then?
Please recommend movie with the same atmosphere.
there are no good lovecraft movies
t. knower
>>68866001
Pretty sure it doesnt exist and if it does it's probably shit.
On the other hand the brotherhood of the wolf had bloodborne as fuck outfits and a comfy atmosphere+combat, bit weird but watchable
Great movie, but did they really need the bit where cop dog sexually harassed a female fellow officer to the point where she committed suicide?
>>68865931
>Getting upset that the unneeded chick officer offs herself
>Doesn't even mention the illegal immigrant rape dungeon the dog knew about but didn't report because his childhood friend ran it
Also, the cannibalism scene was waaaay too graphic for me. I know the junkie was high on meth but did they have to show him eating that baby alive? It went on for at least five minutes.
I especially enjoyed the part where cop dog breaks that black kids finger for talking back
>>68865931
I thought the scene were he shot the unarmed black kid for selling dope was a bit too much, but when you look back on the beginning and how his owner got addicted to it, I can understand why he did it
Why do both Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men both sound almost exactly like Justin Bieber? I watched that Airport clip this morning, and it honestly sounds like they both thought "cocky cool guy" accent and both individually arrived on Bieber. Why can't they just let goddamn Americans play Americans in capeshit movies.
For comparison...

>Why can't they just let goddamn Americans play Americans in capeshit movies.
>Christian Bale > Ben Affleck. That's fucking why.
>>68865963
Christian Bale's movies were certainly better, but his Batman was a fucking joke. Affleck was hands down the best thing about BvS. Best Batman since Keaton.
>>68866003
At least Bale's Batman wasn't a fucking psychopathic murderer.
>The incompetence of the American military
>Blind Japanese samurai and a Japanese otaku 2chan poster
>Stupid concepts like quislings and feral children
>Israel is best rael
>Is North Korea in a tunnel just hiding out or are they all zombies???????? It's like some kinda Schrodinger's cat of asians, so cool
>"Muh dogs even though I hated them but now I attack people that do and...

the book was very north american biased. what it describes is ewhat most third worlds deal with
>>68865770
I really liked it, but the stereotype Brits and hikkikomori Japanese were stupid, so were the zombie quislings

The same exact 3 first replies every goddamn thread.
Fuck off already. The book was a good read and had some interesting ideas.
Would you accept this casting?
>>68865701
the nose is literally a perfect match
>>68865701
Fuck yeah.
Who would play Togusa?
[Superman has brought down a military drone]
General Swanwick: Are you effing stupid?
Superman: It's one of your surveillance drones.
General Swanwick: That's a $12 million piece of hardware!
Superman: It was. I know you're trying to find out where I hang my cape. You won't.
General Swanwick: Then I'll ask the obvious question. How do we know you won't one day act against America's interests?
Superman: I grew up in Kansas, General. I'm about as American as it gets.
[pause]
Superman:...

i dont think it was supposed to be funny
>>68865756
What was it suppose to be then?
If it was a serious line that actually makes it worse.
>>68865642
>Superman: I grew up in Kansas, General. I'm about as American as it gets.
Didn't he renounce his citizenship in the comics to stop being associated with America in terms of government? I prefer that to the retarded vision of a literal alien choosing to passively endorse the foreign policy of the world's #1 bully just because he grew up there.

Do you enjoy the films of John Green, /tv/?
How can a seemingly normal man be so devoid of testosterone and masculinity? He's the perfect example of everything wrong with men today
The only thing worse than a John Green film is a John Green history lesson.
>the greeks were insufferable shit
>but dem persians, oh boy they were the peak of human achievment and enlightment
>>68865597
Fault in Our Stars was stupid and cringey as hell. It should have been about alcoholic William Dafoe, like most YA stories it focuses on the wrong character.
Only in America could something so stupid be considered a masterpiece.
>HUR HE DRINKS COCA COLA. JUST LIKE ME!

guess you're a big guy, huh.
are people legitimately upset about the casting of Wonder Woman?
It that a man on the right?

Why do people blame "bad marketing" for Dredd's failure?
Can't people just admit that they were tired of seeing more capeshit at the time?
>>68865468
It was bad marketing. Trailer made it look like shit.
THen I watched it. It was epic.
>>68865468
5 years isocube for making this thread again, creep
>>68865468
Can a British comic book character in a British comic book actually be capeshit? Judge Dredd doesn't seem very capeshit to me.
I just finished watching this film for the first time and I am still in a state of shock. Is this a masterpiece /tv/?
>>68865323
yes. easily one of Bergman's more powerful films.
>>68865323
I loved Persona when I watched it a few months ago. I'll be the first to admit I didn't completely "get" it, but everything, the acting, the story, the cut scenes, were all excellent, and I enjoyed trying to put everything together. I'll probably get around to watching it again soon.
>>68865323
Definitely
Why didn't he evolve pikachu?
>>68865320
Raichu's asshole is looser.
He doesn't wanna be like LT Surge, a PTSD stricken mess.
He thought Pikachu's personality might change and they wouldn't be bros anymore I guess.
