why can't Marvel write a good villain anymore? the last good one they had was Jeff Bridges in Iron Man
Is this real? it looks like a drawing.
>>68869510
Kilgrave and Kingpin were great.
Just because every other character in Jessica Jones was bad doesn't take away from the fact that Kilgrave was a well written interesting villain.
Also Kingpin was just generally great.Especially with based WesleyRIP

are you kidding? I make better drawings than thatwas a good comic movie, though. And they really did well with the airport scene

>To say the film drops the ball on this premise is to put it lightly. Used to create division between principal players, the political allegories are mostly abandoned and swapped for character motivation, as if we should never have bothered to contemplate a second meaning in the first place.
>Less a civil war than a dummy spit, the Russo brothers’ bloated blockbuster is probably best appreciated as a junky good-guy-versus-good-guy crossover-fest: a sort of stretched-out Monster Mash for comic book characters.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) is pro-agreement; a rare example of a mega-rich, white dude who wants to be reined in by the government

> The newly refurbished 20-screen venue featured a special screening of Universal’s Jurassic World to demonstrate the full potential of the immersive movie format.
> “4D”technology allows audiences to “feel” the onscreen action, such as the ground shaking with the approach of a monstrous T-Rex, the frenetic turns of a terrified jeep driver, or the strong winds created by explosions and other calamities. The various special effects are created by a combo of “pitch, heave and roll” motion seats andin-theatretechnology....

Face it, this movie cannot fail. How will critics get away with giving it bad reviews without backlash?
It's literally the perfect formula to deflect any and all criticism.
>>68869212
Everyone already knows it's going to be shit.
>>68869212
doesn't matter what critics say, most people think it looks shit, even my mum who goes to see practically every shitty movie thinks this looks garbage, so the box office failure is how it will fail
Ever thought the movie will actually be good?

MFW this is still the darkest film produced by DC Comics and it was a TV movie for children
Seriously, how the fuck did this get made? Jesus Christ, they actually made it darker than the source material.
Killing Robin is one thing, this movie made Joker mind rape him and force him to shoot his father figure. That's darker than anything done by any live action Joker.
God damn this movie was kino.

I'm willing to bet this movie isn't nearly as dark as your life OP.

Why dont people like this movie???
Is it just because it has a female protagonist or what?
It's a dank may may
>>68868651
what an awesome shot, it totally reminded me of the 80's anime "armor hunter mellowlink" the episode where he's fighting in an old crashed warship. pic related
>>68868651
Rey should have been a male or completely removed from the movie. I can accept space magic, but seeing a female taking on male thugs and not getting raped is too much for me.
>Hey, let me take a short and simple movie that only needs as little over 90 minutes to tell its story and expand it into a 3 hour CGI shitfest (three hours and twenty minutes for the extended cut) with terrible casting like Jack Black who is completely out of his depth and just out of place
What an extravagant piece of shit

What are some other movies that really break the 4th wall?
I can't remember anything that had any significant scenes where this occurred, apart from the 90's meme of 'tfw looking dead into the camera for a few seconds'.
Obviously this serves its purpose in the film as the character does this constantly, but it got me thinking about other movies in general.
Bonus points for lists.
>>68868337
BLAZING SADDLES
>>68868356
I was thinking about whether to include parody comedies, because breaking the wall in one for hem doesn't have any significance so it's not really a shock. I can actually recall a few other films where that happens.
I suppose expecting any significant fourth wall break in a non-comedy film is incredibly rare when you think about it.
