Name one living director, American or otherwise, other than Paul Thomas Anderson who creates gold with every project he touches.
This is pure kino
Any fans of pure pwnage here? Movie releases in about an hour.
some of it doesn't hold up anymore, but i remember laughing with my friends at some of the videos, and the one where he tries to pick up girls by showing off his macro skills or whatever is still kind of funny. i'll probably watch it but get drunk first so i'm even more stupid than i already am.
Just found out this shit exists, highly advisable for those of you with a fuck ton of DVDs
Now that the dust has settled, what's the consensus?
It's fucking terrible from an objective story telling standpoint. It meanders, then something that makes no sense happens, then people argue over meaningless shit, etc. The direction and editing is so brutal that it makes it difficult to sit through the end product.
>Americans win and are seen as the good guys
>I HAVE TO BE DIRECT
Does anyone who isn't directly involved with this movie actually want it to happen?
>Tony has A.I. somewhere running crime statistics," Markus concluded. "He can see where it's going up and heroes might be needed and where it's going down and there might be heroes. It's why he built Ultron in
>>Tony has A.I. somewhere running crime statistics," Markus concluded. "He can see where it's going up and heroes might be needed and where it's going down and there might be heroes
And everyone is okay with this?
scenes you had a hard time watching
This movie was actually way better than it had any right to be.
What are some other potential Vs. horror movies that could work? At least entertainment wise
Is this Fincher's best movie? Just watched it last night, and I can't think of a movie he's made that's better made than Zodiac.
Did you enjoy this show?
I call it "The Leland Stottlemeyer Chronicles, Featuring Adrian."
"Fly, you fools."
"See you later, Crocodile."
Actors you enjoy seeing on screen but despise who they are in person.
I find so many times, people will dismiss an actor all together because of something they did in person, despite some good roles and good acting ability.
What actor/actress do you feel the same way about?
I don't really despise him, he's just kind of pathetic
What would you like to see in season 3 of True Detective? Here's my pitch.
Michael (Michael Fassbender) is a devout Catholic cop who moved to Vegas for an assignment. He must infiltrate a religious cult lead by Donald O Toole (Michael C. Hall). They plan to "cleanse Sin City of its sin". He must also rescue his indoctrinated partner (Liam Neeson). Micahel's faith falters as he must do away with his morals to dismantle this group.
