Why can't DC make good cape films?
>>69270559
The only capefilms on that list are hulk and Spiderman 2

>It's a Tony samples street food prepared with questionable hygiene in a third world shithole while waxing poetic about their misunderstood culture episode
>>69270428
Fuck you I like it.
Tony also clearly gives very few shits, and seems to be doing alright enough for himself despite this to make me jelly of his life every episode.
"The shit from under the chef's fingernails really adds to the texture!"
>It's a Andrew goes to Africa and eats literal garbage food
What can I skip?
Not pictured: Daredevil season 2 & Civil War
All of it.

Just let him die. If he won't create and publish anything then why would you ever continue hyping him up weekly like this.
I'm gunna beat the shit out of Spoony.
What was the first Spoony video you guys saw? I think mine was Deadly Premonition
>Early 1900's: Native Americans are portrayed as savages who will kill the white man for no apparent reason.
>2015: Native Americans portrayed as savages who will kill the white man on the off-chance that they might have the chief's daughter.
Good to see how far we've progressed
I guess what we should take from this is the correct assumption that native americans are, in fact, savages
Maybe if the Native Americans had progressed they wouldn't be close to extinction.
>be Native American

>stop discussing television shows!!!!
Maybe it's because I don't read the comics, but someone explain this to me.
Why was Tony so mad at Sam after Rhodes was shot down? It wasn't Sam's fault but Tony still hit him with a cheap shot like a little bitch.
But then later when he was talking to Vision
he wasn't even mildly annoyed. They were just slightly confused over why it happened.
>"What happened?"
>"I got distracted"
>"I didn't think that could...

He wasn't mad at Sam, just mad in general.
The point is that Vision can make mistakes.
Tony is angry at Cap for going rogue, angry at the Avengers for helping him, pissed his team got gimped and completely assmad his best buddy got shot down, and took it all on Falcon.
Let's take a break from capeshit and talk about some our personal favorite Action movies, 80s, 90s, whatever
Pic related is probably my second favorite Van damme after Bloodsport, and while John woo was probably under a lot of studio interference, the action is top notch

Now THIS is a thread I can get behind.
I'm a pleb when it comes to the action genre, and I really want to see some real highlights of the gun-fu genre.
I know John Woo's a fucking master, but who else has done really effective gun-fu?
I want to watch that Van Damme movie where a hockey stadium gets hijacked and he's a security a guard, it was like Die Hard on ice.
Also that movie with Dennis Leary where some guy takes a wrong turn off the freeway and is in some apocalyptic ghetto.
Could never decide whether I loved or hated this movie. /Schlockino/ general?
What do you guys think of Max Landis?
I think he's right on the money 90% of the time.

When I consider whether to take seriously anyone's opinions, I always think of whether I would have ever heard of this person if their last name was Y instead of X.
i think he's a self-important, bandwagoning attention whore who will say or do whatever he thinks will keep the spotlight on him

shit nepotism director
What are some of the lesser known horror movies that really made a mark on you guys? I am trying to find a ton that hit new boundaries in the genre, need some recommendations.
Also I know frankenstein isn't unknown, I don't really know any unpopular movies.
Night of the Demon/Curse of the Demon is one of my favorites.
Dead and Buried
Let's Scare Jessica to Death
Don't Look Now
The Haunting of Julia
The Changeling
Nosferatu The Vampyre
The Tenant
He didn't deserve this.

The stream always starts along with the TV broadcast.
Did anyone else think the frame rate of the first action sequence in Lagos was a bit weird?
it wasnt the framerate, but the lack of motion blur, giving it that choppy look.
24 frames per seconds only works because of motion blur, without it, it's like having a strobelight in your eyes.
Saving Private Ryan used it through the entire movie to give it more edge, but not to the same degree.
>>69269257
>it wasnt the framerate, but the lack of motion blur, giving it that choppy look.
This.
>>69269023
Not really, The Force Awakes had some terrible frame rate stuff. The did some in 30 and some in 23.976 and it made the set pieces look kinda jittery.
>>69269257
Why though?
Why is it that you can dissect and discuss batman v superman and man in steel in depth, but you can't do the same with Civil War?
Because you're autistic

Mind the typos
This right here, is your standard capeshit
How did Lex Luthor know exactly when Batman would set up to fight Superman just in time to kidnap his mother right before? He only did it after reading letter he sent him months earlier that he never read before then.
Why did Lex Luthor even hate Superman?
Why did mixing Lex Luthors DNA with Zod create a giant Cyptonian monster?
How did Lois Lane know Batman needed the spear she just tossed in some water?
How come Superman couldn't find his mother and need Batman's help even though he can always find Lois Lane across the world just in...

Why was Mortheus so against stories about Batman in his newspaper? Why did he want Clark to write about sports instead of just getting their sports writer to do it?
Why did Mortheus just give Lois Lane the helicopter when she said she wasn't using it for a story? Aren't helicopters expensive? Did he assume that she was gonna help Superman fight a big monster later?
How did Clark Kent get a job at the Daily Planet when he had no experience in Journalism? Why was he never fired for never showing...

>Bat signal is lit several times throughout the years
>lex luthor knows it's to fight superman
>Batman expects superman to know his intent with it
>Batman doesn't know that lexcorp is the only company in the world with access to kryptonite and interrogates low level criminals before figuring it out
Movie was fine and I can answer most of your questions, but these two do bug me
Did Lex Luthor think Batman could actually kill Superman?
No that's why he made Doomsday
>Why couldn't Lex Luthor just kill Superman with the Cyptonite?
Because Batman stole it
>How did anyone know Kryptonite would hurt Superman did they all just assume it would for some reason?
He said IN THE MOVIE they tested it on Zod's cells and it caused them to decay faster
