how do you feel about The Gunslinger being african american
>>69629719
I don't, I never read the books, so fuck whatever shitpost storm this was intended to be
Guys should I read the books?
I find it agitating that they do it to meet a quota, but it's not going to take me out of enjoying the movie.
I really don't care. It's gonna be a shitty movie based off a shitty book. We should be so lucky that there isn't enough demand for a sequel. Honestly, Elba's acting may be the soul redeeming quality, but don't quote me on that.
Also, he's a brit you stupid fuck.
Obviously, there is social engineering propaganda embedded throughout much of our television and film entertainment media. This is not news.
Serious question... why is it such a taboo topic here and in mainstream discussion in general? This is a huge issue.
Regardless of your political affiliation (or lack thereof)... propaganda (regardless of what it's propagandizing) is a bad thing, right?
>>69629714
Propaganda isn't bad. Believing it is.
Its more a test of persons intelligence and ability to cut through bullshit.
>>69629773
>propaganda isn't bad
So just don't worry about it, huh?
In recent decades, the very entertainment, news and information that you get has bundled together: 90% of the media is now controlled by just six companies, down from 50 in 1983.
It gets even more macro, too: 37 banks have merged to become just four -- JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and CitiGroup in a little over two decades. Ten mega corporations control the output of almost everything you buy; from household products to batteries. These corporations create the chain of supplies that flow from one another. Each chain begins at one of the 10 super companies.

How would you fix this mess of a movie?

No idea, the phoenix is a concept that doesn't work in movies. Even the Movie's version of the phoenix seemed retarded. I don't know, maybe if the alluded to it in earlier films other than the water scene.
Best mystique.

JUST YOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU...
Started rewatching it with my roommate todayy, I'm excited.
>no Harry S. Truman
I'm still sad. The bromance was one of the best parts of the series.
Okay. The episode was pretty good until we got to the end. I mean what? Why not just end it right before when they were all together and celebrating? The shooting scene was just out of the blue and unnecessary and if you took it out the corny "7 years late" epilogue wasn't needed.
Yeah. The Caleb thing made no sense. No explanation of how he could have faked his DNA in the car or play up the charade in the first place. This season wasn't really that great. The last one had a good one with them all together at the ceremony. And it was Marlowe's last season involved too, who seems to be unhappy with the way this season turned out. Even suggesting he might continue the stories in books possibly leaving this season out of canon.
>>69629577
I thought this season did jump the shark in some places. Like the guy who couldn't die for instance.
>>69629442
So glad this shit show is over. Maybe now this Reddit meme tier actor can finally disappear into the ether.
>Adrien Brody, who has worked with both filmmakers, spoke out about the allegations on Dirty, Sexy, Funny with Jenny McCarthy Monday, and offered his take on whether the director's personal lives can be separated from their art.
>"Life is very complicated," Brody, 43, said. "I look to collaborate with artistic people and to go into an endeavor without judgment and to hopefully be treated with the same. It's an artistic pursuit, and Polanski for instance had a very complicated and difficult life....

Why is /pol/, which spams pedophilia threads here multiple times a day, get pissy over the behavior of other degenerates?

Sounds like a reasonable opinion to me.
is colin farrel as cool in real life as he is in the movies?
>>69629277

What does /tv/ think of Kingdom of Heaven?
Great movie with a terrible lead, if they got someone competent besides Legolas it would be actually one of Ridley Scott's greatest films
>>69629167
It's fucking dog shit but only because fucking Orlando Bloom talks with one inflection the entire movie. Jesus Christ it enrages me to watch what he calls acting.
>>69629267
I agree, Sean Bean would've been cool.
I know this sounds fucking stupid but please give me a chance. Almost all of us like breaking bad, but what about when you want to re-watch the series in a weekend? Huh?
That's why I came up with this, a Breaking Bad trilogy or maybe a quadriology if I can't fit everything in to 3 movies.
Season's one and two can be the first movie. Then the second movie will either be season 3 and half of 4 or season 3 and all of 4. Third movie will be the other half of 4 if it's required plus season 5.
I have some experience editing, though I'm between software...

bumping because it sounds interesting.
>>69629145
I don't understand. You personally are going to make a fan edit into 3 movies?
That would just be re-watching the show again, in a slightly different order based on how you edited it, no?
>>69629463
Another idea I had was to make a few movies based on a different character's point of view. Like 2 characters in each movie. Jesse/Walt, Schrader/Gus, Mike/Saul. Give them their own private stories that all tie in together.
Don't give it away to see how retarded /tv/ is
>>69629050
The way the text is written makes me think that there's nothing to see and the joke is to make people stare at a low quality image of a brick wall for a while.
a cigar in a wall
...is that it?

holy fuck...
What do you want to see in Aflecks new Batkino?
>>69629046
I actually laughed pretty hard.
