>Gosling and Crowe—an Unholy Alliance
>The Nice Guys is another sub-mental movie for morons churned out by the kind of sophomoric Hollywood machine that trademarks the works of Judd Apatow & Co. Afflicted by the same hammered, incomprehensible immaturity that makes modern American comedies unwatchable by any sane person’s standards, this action spoof of the brain-dead, odd-couple cop-buddy franchises popularized by Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, or Eddie Murphy and Judge Reinhold, is equally dumb and forgettable but not even half as amusing. This one, by the jarringly untalented writer-director Shane Black, is merely violent, vulgar and stupid.
>Shane Black’s credits (wrote Lethal Weapon, directed Iron Man 3) disqualify him from being taken seriously, but hiring him to direct this dog should be anathema to even the greediest moguls in Burbank. But The Nice Guys is depressingly inept by any standards. Every bad movie sets up room for a sequel, but with this idiocy, you’ll pray it isn’t so.
Gonna see this in 2 hours. Can't wait.
meet this guy as you're walking...
what do you even say?
>Is that a fucking e-cigarette?
What did he mean by this?
So why is the third movie usually bad?
This is a picture of the Wachowski sisters. They made "The Matrix", one of the most influential movies of the 21st century.
Requesting the freak quote about saying you could replace the word Matrix with gender binary and the narrative would still make sense.
I think it was the thing with the dreadlocks.
Are the newer seasons of South Park any good?
I think I watched it up until season 14 or 15 or something.
Is it worth catching up on? I don't see much discussion about it on /tv/.
Are women capable of being funny?
Do people really go alone to the movies?
That sounds sad. :(
If there is a really niche movie I want to see but I know no friend is interested in, I go alone.
More popular movies, it's either with friends or I don't watch them at the cinema at all.
Whispering jokes at each other and discussing the movie afterward is fun.
Not necessary, but fun.
what's the name of this movie?
it's a black and white film in spanish
it's about the evils of colonialization of the land (costa rica? or something?) and has long passages of beautiful shots of the nature juctaposed with segments showing the horrors brought to various characters: like a farmer who burns down his own crops instead of being forced to sell it to some one or something; there's a really long singletake shot in a night club or casino or restaurant type situation with a girl who doesn't want to whore herself out

>better place on the internet
some would say not a chance
others would say anywhere but here
What does /tv/ think of The Purge series? I've never seen any but I have to admit the trailer for the most recent one has got me curious. Still seems a stupid idea, but the weirdly political angle of the most recent one looks interesting.
>keep America great
Man it would be great it we got a Donald trump cameo of him running as president for his second term or something.
Too bad he wouldn't do since people would take it seriously
>barely ever go on this board
>first time Ive ever made a thread
>this is the first response
Fear The Walking Dead/TWD hate thread. I'll start off. I fucking hate this cunts slanty, overly compact face.
Uncle Bully's got a bad incident in his past, anon. Something dark and violent which will erupt again pretty damn soon I'd imagine.
Lots of fun questions coming up on FTWD actually: when is Chris going to go full psycho killer? - when is Alicia gonna strip off to help the ratings? - just how nasty was Daniel's time spent among the dago torture squad? - is Nick ever going to stop falling under the sway of the smooth talkers? - when will mummy-fu stop being annoying?

so come on, weebums, all of 'em
Is this the best portrayal of schizophrenia ever put to film?
Dk, bump for interest.
More psych-kino, or wuteva its called.
The critics were pretty much spot on with this. No paid off shenanigans like the far superior "Batman Vs superman". This was your average bland capeshit flick with no substance and barely any emotional depth. 5/10 overall
