I know the atheist thing is kind of old and played out, and most people don't actually know anyone who's religious, but you have to understand that there are actually people who still believe in that shit, and that is inherently funny.
I mean, if you get rid of Ricky Gervais you've essentially gotten rid of 90% of British "humour".

>Inspired by Barack and Michelle Obama's first date, SOUTHSIDE WITH YOU recounts the eventful summer day in 1989 when a young law firm associate named Barack Obama (Parker Sawyers) tried to woo lawyer Michelle Robinson (Tika Sumpter) during a daylong date that took them from the Art Institute of Chicago to a screening of Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing to the site of their first kiss outside of an ice cream parlor.

Thoughts on this film? I think it's probably Scarlett Johannson's best role. Also, Bill Murray was great. Well shot too, Sofia Coppola did a great job. Overall, I thought it was a great picture, gave it an 8/10 on IMDB, but curious to hear /tv/'s thoughts.
What do you guys think of John Waters?
