Pure Kino.

So this and the sequel are the only examples of true capekino, right?
Rewatched them recently, even the second one sucks. As a lad, I was 100% convinced that 2 was better than 1. It's honestly not even close, the first one blows the second out of the water.
>copious CGI fighting
>Dock Ock's motivations make no sense
>Peter and MJ playing relationship chicken
>Peter losing his powers because he doesn't want to be Spiderman or some shit

First one was a good adaptation, even if lacking in some parts. Origin was great.
As for SM2, sure it was like Ironman 3 where it was more Peter than Spider-Man but it had some great bits all in all, and it was the best one for Aunt May, which funny enough has more memorable moments than Mary Jane.

The fight on the train is great, but other than that, I legitimately disliked it after rewatching it. We tried to watch 3 after as well, but we made it about a half hour in before we had to turn it off.
So /tv/ whats the consensus on this trilogy?
Would you want Nolan back for the new Batman movies, or his tone and styling
I only liked the first one
I only liked the second one

Nolan was amazing. He should be in charge on the DCCU not a hack like snyder
thoughts?

It was short, sweet, absurd, somewhat funny, pretty clever, and the kid is cute.
I liked it.
It's a pretty simple story of how technology can decrease our humanity, and living forever is actually a horrible existential crisis in waiting.
But its well done and it retains those elements of a failing self identity which I loved in It's such a beautiful day.
Enjoyed it, I don't know what it is about these animations but I can easily watch them over and over. Can't wait for his next work.

These two guys are directly responsible for the attacks on police. Why are they allowed to continue rabble-rousing?

This is Eastwood's best movie, try and prove me wrong.
>Protip: You can't!
muh hardcore asians
not a bad film though
mystic river is his best so far
>>72102164
It's not bad, but it's hardly his best work. They used a lot of non pro actors, and it shows. Espeicially with the kid protagonist.
As an actor he has been in tons of better movies, giving way better performances.
As a director he has made much better movies.
If you want one that brings both of these together, then I will say Unforgiven. You know, the one that won the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director.
