What the fuck is up with the ending?
10/10 show up until then.
Also best fight I've ever seen in a show.
it was supposed to follow history so they followed what actually happened in the town: not a whole lot besides a few random deaths.
HBO could have picked a fictitious setting and made the ending epic but instead stayed true to history and stroke their own dicks.

Fuck History all that build up for fucking nothing

Loved the show but iirc, it got pretty stale towards the end.
I think it only got announced it wasn't being renewed until like.. the last episode. So they had to kinda wrap things up neatly. Could be wrong but that's how I remember itI don't even remember the ending but maybe it's because it was so unremarkable.
Who is your Reactfu, /tv/?
I like Rebecca, but Olivia and Sophia are good too

People say he should have built a kill-switch into them but that would've defeated the purpose of building a sentient AI.
It was a huge risk but he thought he had it handled, just couldn't predict Caleb going full retard.

Not having any contingency plan at all for robots who hate him when he plans on bringing an outsider who he intended to piss off seems a bit careless from someone who was painted as a genius and careful.
Disturbing Behaviour, why is this flim so Kino?
Kino is a meaningless buzzword for pretentious retards like yourself, OP
>>70125328
wrong. Kino refers to anything foreign that has a European like feel due to Europeans being the best at creating art.

I really liked it. It was definitely an interesting approach to the psychology behindpublic massacres, both the victims and the murderer. A bit similar to Battle Royale, where a lot of them just lay down and take it and some of them make a legitimate attempt at fighting back/escaping. Also the Norse mythology plug was done quite well I thought. It had a great sort've cry-wolf aspect to it as well.
Well paced. Really my only complaint would be that when the American speaks it throws me off a bit,...

i thought it was similar to battle royale in that aspect too. my only question is who that white guy was, like was it a part of him he killed then some of it remained or was it really a person.
I don't understand, would a filmmaker have some sort of incentive to inexplicably place the final act of a film in Beijing starring all Chinese actors and including Chinese product placement and showing the Chinese government to be capable and heroic while the American government is incompetent and corrupt?
maybe the incentive is something as simple as wanting to make money
The Chinese are currently experiencing their 1980's: a glut of consumerism, natuonalism, and unwarranted self value. When their economy collapses in a decade or so hack directors will start trying to appeal to the next big consumer powerhouse,India.
Same thing happened with Japan 25 years ago, but you faggots are too young to know about that.
>>70125045
Everything you said is true but a country of 1.3 billion entertainment hungry consumers has the potential to rival the US market collapsed economy or not.
