I just watched this movie. A friend had casually recommended this movie a few days ago and wow, what a great movie. If any of you guys have seen this one, what did you think?
>>71938719
Bretty gud. The scenes where they break the 4th wall and explain shit directly to the audience was highly derivative of too many Wallstreet-themed movies that came before it. For this reason, I can't give it more than a 7/10.
>>71938719
Couldn't possibly give enough of a shit to watch this, and that's coming from someone who is financially literate and literally intentionally ironically works at a big bank
I haven't seen it, but based on that cast I can't see myself giving it more than a 5/10
Admit it, you want to see Swiss Army Man.
Who else is waiting for the torrent? I'm not actually going to pay for it.
>>71938640
I'd pay for it if I could find out when the fuck it's out in England.
>>71938654
>Britcuck paying for stuff
Typical
>>71938640
Same desu
Is the Goose better suited for autistic kino like Drive and Only God Forgives or underrated comedies like The Big Short and The Nice Guys?
Lighthearted funny stuff hes too stiff to do serious or romantic stuff I can tell he's an actor he doesn't feel natural but in comedies he works
Neither.
>>71938839
You left out Lars and The Real Girl for the weirdo roles
>"I hate the prequels"
Why the hell would you say this Simon? Out of all the respect I had for you and you have just become another one of those haters who hate anything original and unique in Star Wars
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH-ZrFXov_g
>>71938504
Yeah, he's kind of a faggot.
He's been expressing his hatred for the prequels since S2 of Spaced.
Notice how the interviewer did not ask "rate the 7 Star Wars movies".
I am intrigued to know what place he'd put JJ's Force Awakens at.
How long will this run for?
Long enough to get me a few more Penny feet scenes
9/10 seasons
>>71939017
oh wait that shit already has completed 9 seasons
wtf should have ended it a season after the crappy new girls joined in

Does this count as fan service?
>in an alternate timeline, a Conan in his absolute prime is innovating the Tonight Show to new heights, while interviewing A list celebrities, and introducing headlining musical acts

Man that is one uncomfortable cascade of fake laughs.
Why would they not have her go barefoot?
ITT: Overhyped trash
It isn't even funny and the plot is so blatantly retarded but I don't even need to point that out.

Why do you think I care about your worthless opinion though?

duh.
What are some great political thrillers?
I've watched
>The Ghost Writer
>The Manchurian Candidate
>Syriana
>All the President's Men
What else should I watch? I really enjoyed Syriana's direction and tone, same with Polanski's Ghost Writer.
The Dead Zone

NOT EXPLICITLY POLITICAL BUT MICHAEL CLAYTON AND THE CONSTANT GARDENER FIT WELL IN A LIST WITH SYRIANA

Ben Afflicki's Argo.

>it's a "/tv/ makes this thread again" episode

I love this episode
My father's friend is a professional film critic. He writes articles for some film magazine. I asked my father to ask him for a list of good films to watch, and he sent this.
Citizen Kane (Welles, 1941)
La Règle du jeu (Renoir, 1939)
Bronenosets Potyomkin (Eisenstein, 1925)
Vertigo (Hitchcock, 1958)
Otto e mezzo (Fellini, 1963)
The Godfather (Coppola, 1972)
The Godfather Part II (Coppola, 1974)
La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc (Dreyer, 1928)
2001: A Space Odyssey (Kubrick, 1968)

Hey, what's up
I haven't watched Fluffee in years
What's he up to nowadays?
>>71937629
Oh man, I forgot about him.
>>71937705
Apparently fishing for the lowest common denominator. His feed is absolutely disgusting. It's almost pornographic looking at this. Blech.
whose jealous of whom
The photographer, the actors

Leo is younger and taller and has an Oscar
Tom has a better hairline, will look 45 when his botox heals up, more kino movies and is literally the biggest movie star in the world
Let's see, Cruise has numerous kids and is divorced three times. Leo has not been married and has no kids. However, Cruise apparently doesn't see his kids very often him being busy with work. Cruise is at the helm of two franchises at the moment, while Leo takes on different characters for acclaim. Cruise used to be seen as psycho by many for the couch incident along with Scientology debacles. Leo has no controversy, other than he can't hold a woman and he vapes.
All I can say is, it's close.
Is this the greatest animation kino to ever be made?
That would be Akira. Don't worry, I know I'm a pleb.
The comic was better.
no, but its close
honorable mentions to perfect blue and grave of the fireflies
Wow. Autistic children sure are scary.
even more so that autistic adults like you
