Post movies you like that don't get mentioned on /tv/ often
My recommendation is Bounty Killer. It's a fun self aware cheap action flick that doesn't take itself too seriously
This movie is the magnum opus of the greatest living director
>My boyfriend died
>To avenge him, I'll kill his brother and nephew
are you even fucking surprised at dave and deebs at this point
>women
so strong and independent
>hyped as one of the most skilled fighters in Westeros
>gets killed by a bunch of nobodies wielding switchblades
What did he mean by this?
Literally "kill off a minor character every week to shock our pleb audience" the show

>fighting isn't some kung fu movie
>numbers actually matter
>even the best swordsman can't beat 10 people simultaneously
>this mirrors reality
You can't really snatch every motherfucker birthday.

>Light

CHRIST
Light should've been played by a Nip.
L is canonically white, and Misa looks white anyway so whatever.
I have a bunch of Fury Road concept art that I saved from a thread on here a few months back and I'm going to repost them.

Who else here collects or enjoys Laserdiscs?
I just started collecting Laserdiscs, but only for movies I really love, or to compare picture and sound clarity to other releases I'm interested in.
I have a nice Pioneer auto-flip LD player, and about 50+ LDs that I got from a co-worker who sold them to me for about 2 dollars a piece when he was cleaning out his girlfriend's dad's place as he was moving, but they're all in immaculate condition.
Any tips for a collector or enthusiast? Where can I find these things in the wild? Pawn shops and...

why the fuck would you buy inferior media?
I've never seen a laserdisc in person. They look cool as hell.
>>70154007
The novelty. Most of them are pretty cheap, too. Also, the sleeves generally have really bitchin' artwork that current day formats just can't show off.
ITT we invent new Oscar Categories

Are these guys funny?
A guy carrying a plank of wood, turning with it, and hitting two people in the head at the same time will never not be funny
>>70153585
This.
Looney Tunes owes a lot to slapstick comedy
I can't wipe the stupid grin off my face after watching this.
Goose and Aussie Aussie Aussie worked so well together on-screen.
>>70153496
It's a terrible movie. It's all for nothing and the ending leaves you feeling hollow.
Also father of the year.
I didn't like hearing a 13 year old girl talk about anal sex. I'm sure that shit is hilarious in pedo wood, but I found it uncomfortable and cringey and many people in the audience seemed to respond the same way
>>70153534
i actually got a boner from that and so did the rest of the audience it seemed. hmm must be culture differences
>>70153534
Maybe it's supposed to leave you hollow. What kind of ending were you really expecting?
The ending to a comparable movie such as Inherent Vice also ended on a similar note. It's really the journey that matters and the ending fit perfectly. If they had ended with them winning, then it would be just too surreal.
ITT: Movies that left you feeling feels
>Roger Ebert: After "The Grey" was over, I watched the second film for 30 minutes and then got up and walked out of the theater. It was the first time I've ever walked out of a film because of the previous film. The way I was feeling in my gut, it just wouldn't have been fair to the next film.
The Grey was trash. I was expecting The Edge with Liam Neeson, and we got some cgi magic wolves bullshit
What was the other movie?
>>70153371
This. Shit movie overall, ending was garbage.
Thoughts?
None.
>Half the guys are half black
Really makes you think
