The Cohen Brothers? They've written some of the funniest movies in the last thirty years the fuck are you talking about?

last 2 I saw were inside LD and A Serious Man. Both have 2% comedy and 90% existential angst, horrible luck and mishaps
TJ Miller is going to star in the adaption of one of /lit/'s meme books.
Thoughts?
The book was ok but I can't see the movie having broad enough appeal to be a hit. In book publishing you need a much smaller number of sales to be considered a hit. As a result, lots of niche books are successful but aren't valuable for movie adaptation. This seems to be one of those cases. Or do they expect to find millions of Dungeons of Daggorath fans?
Don't care. Steven Spielberg is shit AND a pedophile
I really do not like TJ Miller or Steven Spielberg.
Who will play him in the inevitable biopic?
>>70331101
I heard he's paid opposition. Haven't looked into it further, but it would be kind of sad because I thought he was the shit as a teen. Even heard him speak in Toronto in '98. Anyone else like Manufacturing Consent (the movie)?

A master of art such as Bowie knows talent when he sees it. Glad he got to watch this brilliant movie before he passed. #rip #forthehorde
That's why he died
Just watched seasons 1 through 6 of this and liked it.
Did it suck or was it any good?
Please respond
its decent, the type of show I watch when I have the flu or something
It's a U.S.A. show for it's comfy as fuck, but at the same time nothing major happens.

Really?
Thoughts on this?
Happy nostalgia, I enjoyed it a lot, I heard a rumor (not sure if true) that it can make better sense if you take it as a Jonze's response to Coppola's Lost In Translation, there are even compatative images with similar shots, perspectives and colors.
Did you watch it already? If not you should.

Just finished it a bit ago
I can't exactly recall such similarities off the top of my head, but I can definitely believe it

Chicken George today. How does the reboot compare to the original? I've never seen it.

The first one was a television event. It was the first miniseries ever made, and iirc they either planned to air it on a day most of the country was home, or there was like a snow storm or something that kept everybody inside. In any case that coupled with the fact that there were only like 5 channels at the time gave it a much larger built in audience and put way more eyeballs on it than you have today with so...

You know it aired in 1977, right?
I honeslty feel bad for Kevin Smith. He used to be a pretty ok director. But this is just sad...
He only did it for the free sausages he would get

I'm reading scripts trying to get better at writing them. I want to enter some contests and (if I win any of them) possibly team up with some indie producers by the end of next year.
80's Script guy here
I've been going through a rough couple of days lately, and during that time I decided to try opening up a new project to get my mind off things. Just wrote a page, no clue where I want it to go, but it helped me feel a little better.

Sounds like Michael is going to have at least a few more rough days than you are.
