What are some movies that you never seen talked about on /tv/? Also obscure recommendation thread.
Drinking games that will kill you
>Take a shot every time the transporters have an issue
Take a shot every time Buffy crosses her arms in the middle of a conversation or right before she's about to speak.
That looks disturbingly similar to my bedroom.
how do you like BrainDead so far, /tv/?
I quite like it
OP webm would be mfw if it gets cancelled
not even memeing
the show is set in a post-racial society
So, my gf went to watch Me Before You without me, and ever since has been mocking me for not being romantic enough. She is constantly tweeting quotes from the movie, told me to buy her the novel, and is obssessed with Emilia Clarke now because "she was amazing and so cute in the movie." What should i do?
>Name a movie men would enjoy that stars an actress under the age of 18.
What if David Cronenberg directed the Honey I Shrunk the kids films?
>tfw you will only be remembered for your autistic role on a forgettable HBO show and no one will ever remember you for your true passion: your improvised Shakespeare performances.
I remember him as the gay in The Other Guys
and Fuzz from my waifus movie
how do i get better at writing screen plays ?
Stop watching PTA films, they're shit.
Writing talent is something you're mostly born with, but you can become a decent writer with lots of practice, that means reading a ton of scripts (of good movies), watching good movies, and using critical thinking skills to discern what works, what doesn't. Also write, write, and keep writing. Eventually it won't be shit, if you keep improving yourself.
1) Write them
2) (and this is the most important part which can't be stressed enough) FUCKING FINISH THEM
3) Write more of them
4) Go back and re-write the ones from steps 1 and 2
Do that and you WILL get better. I'm not saying you'll get good, but you'll get better than when you started.
CRIMINALLY underrated movies
Who else is exauhsted because of Capeshit?
So I don't have too much of a problem with superhero films, any idiot can see that they are simply just average cookie cutter films, every genoration has there own style of easy money films. It's the fact that I am surrounded by it that bothers me, I can't fucking escape it.
Allot of people say I don't have to see Capeshit if I don't like it, and I don't, but I simply can't avoid it because of how large its cultural and marketing presence is- anywhere I go in person or online today I...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Another thing that makes me sperg out is how blatantly synical the movies themselves are, entire scenes and trailers are now created for the sole purpose of being translated into gif's for the purpose of free advertisement. Disney, or mostly Disney, purposefully rides the fake nerd 'lol I'm so quirky and awkward I play the banjo' genoration and they just fucking eat it out like morons.
These shysters don't even use a real poster in their Re:View videos!
>unexpectedly attractive people
forgot pic, and I meant Albert Finney.
>My Big Fat Fabulous Life
>I am Jazz
Is it fair to say TLC is the cause of America's decline?
TLC used to be the learning channel, and air decent stuff. Then they decided to shift to women and gay entertainment. And women fucking hate learning unless its about decorating. Now TLC is just reality shows, the shittiest of all programming but the type that appeals to women the most.
Also once a woman was put in charge of the History channel they changed gears to basically redneck reality shows.
In short, women should not be allowed anywhere near TVs.
How could one guy make such a phenomenon of himself and gain three decades of constant media coverage?
Is there literally anyone in the world who doesn't recognize who he is?
