>Only captain to actually develop as a character throughout the series.
>Only captain to have to raise a kid while taking on all the duties of being captain.
>Only captain to have to deal with the consequences of his actions when dealing with an alien race, instead of flying off to some other planet after two or three episodes tops.
Hey guys, who's the best captain, Kirk or Picard?
Picard raised children while he was a star fleet captain, too
Janeway had children but just abandoned them on some random planet in the delta quadrant.
Which is the better movie franchise?
Why was she making this face?
Everyone loves ‘Back to the Future’ don’t they? But be honest, you’ve been conditioned to like this film. Do you think it’s really a good movie or is it because you watched it as a kid? Isn’t it time you dropped this “nostalgia for things that actually sucked” thing once and for all? I know this means you’ll have to throw out your Marty Mcfly “Body warmer”, but you’re a grown up now. When your dad was your age, he had a wife and 3 kids and a job where he had to wear a tie to work, while you're still a manchild obsessing over nostalgic things.
What went right?
This must be one of the most disappointing films I've seen in a while.
Like, it's not so bad in it's own regard, but why was this so well reviewed and criticized?
Her was leagues better
Ex Machina thread?
i watched it for Domhnall Gleeson but it kinda sukked
why did he only ask for funding of one episode?
people would have gave him money for at least 10 episodes easily
Do you think when you get to a certain amount of fame you start going crazy? Like will smiths kids going to Scientology schools and believing in aliens and shit, is it because to them it seems impossible that they got to that position?
yes. to experience being a celebrity is not natural, and messes up people. especially when it's growing up. for every person who has the sense to brush off jaden smith as a kid, there's 10,000+ who will follow him on twitter like a sycophant.
>character is supposed to be unbelievably smart genius
>thinks People's History of the United States is a good book
How am I supposed to suspend my disbelief for this piece of shit? Jesus Christ.
Objectively the best film ever made. Even Orlando Bloom, who has the acting ability of a crusted turd, was good in this film.
Miss me yet?
so we can all agree that this is the best film of the 2010's right?
ITT we prove RT is shit
>inb4 some dc/marvel faggotry
ive never used this site as an actual argument for anything, its just lame
that being said, rocky 4, back to the future 2, and top gun all got way too low
die another day, terminator3, and indiana jones 4 got WAY TOO HIGH
>movie makes critic sad or upset
>critic gives it a bad review
Only reason why High Rise's score is so low. Great film about a descent into chaos with beautiful shots throughout. Polarized critics because about half of them thought it was "too upsetting".
I loved it.
