Fuck, I love the Avengers.
Adaptation of a famous 60's British spy series. It basically worked as the UK verion of Batman '66, knowing camp and intentional weirdness everywhere.
The movie is shit. It barely makes sense and the leads have zero chemistry despite how talented they are.
Did anyone prefer Phil Leotardo at the end?
He seemed much more sensible
Where was he during 9/11 ?
So if he created Tyler to free himself a little and mainly to get with Marla, where did all the anti-consumerist terrorism shit come from? How can you go from reinventing yourself because you like a girl to becoming the head of a fascist terrorist group?
Norton himself stated in the commentary it was his own self loathing and the fact he couldn't approach Marla about his feelings for her himself because of how much she reflected his personality, so he made a different one.
>From my point of view the Jedi are evil!
What did he mean by this?
No, seriously. The Jedi never did anything remotely evil.
disclaimer: i havent watched a starwars film for like 8 years
Anyway, I think the jedi are pretty shady. Stuffl ike unlimited jurisdiction, TONS of diplomatic wrangling and manipulation, refusal to compromise, etc etc. I can understand why someone would be wary of a group of deadly killing machines with unbeatable weapons who answer to no-one, frequently break local laws, try to control foreign governments and wear shifty-looking outfits.
>90s British comedy film
>All The People, So Many People starts playing
>Don't Wanna Be an American Idiot starts playing
Genuine masterpiece or pretentious hipster bullshit?
I can handle myself
Is this comedykino?
Who should direct?
Who should play Moot?
who was Carol?
whas there a Pepe Silvia?
Can someone fill me in on why normies love this movie so much?
I could barely make it through the trailer.
It's a big piece of garbage. It's an 80s parody made by people who only saw other 80s parodies. Soundtrack is excellent tho, Mitch Murder is one of the best in the synthwave scene. If you want a good 80s "parody" play Farcry Blood Dragon. Michael Biehn is fucking spot on.
Just saw this, was it any good?
Are there some good, comfy, movies set in early 20th century rural USA?
