Well, /tv/?
>>70656547
the internet was a huge mistake.
>>70656547
thats almost as bad as some of the suggestions for movies you see here on /tv/
>>70656610
This. I hope Trump shuts it down. Aside from some laughs, it's spawned nothing but problems.
Can we have a /tv/ for adults?
what ever happened to /film/

/film/ will be back one day... just believe

BOING BOING BOING BOING
Why are foreign movies deeper than american ones?
more psychological movies like pic related? preferably french or japanese
You're watching the wrong American films? The 400 Blows is excellent, but not terribly deep or psychological.
Because america is the home of capeshit and capeshit-esque blockbusters. People are too desensitized to appreciate good filmmaking.

>jap movies
Anything made after the 1960's is shit tier.
Japs are horrible actors and writers.
It's why anime exists.
Japs are plebs.

What if Peggy Blumquist crashed into him with her car
This is what happens when you watch capeshit. You get an insatiable desire to make idiot toadposts
capeshit - not even once
ITT: underrated kino
>>70655911
Where were you when this film proved once, and for all, that God isn't dead and simultaneously blew the fuck out of atheist philosophers like nietzsche?
>>70655911
Better than the first, but hardly kino. Pic related is kino.
Why were there so many quips?
>>70655907
This movie was surprisingly good. Definitely better than Interstellar.
>>70655907
>fuck you mars
The movie went off the cliff half way when it went from a survive on mars movie to lets attempt the most unlikely and impossible way to get home. Then there was the ridiculous scenes with "our buddies" the Chinese to appeal to the Asian market.

>"I'm going to science the shit out of it."
That's crazy.

not really excited for this, all the superman imagery in the first on was really hackneyed
Daily reminder that Mel Gibson presides over a quarter-billion dollar cult compound in Malibu.
Preacher is the best new show this year. "muh comics" faggots please stay away.

>>70655321
If anything he'd be on the MCU shows alongside Daredevil and Punisher

Kurt Russell

Whatever happened to that nigga anyway?
You notice how Theon is always treated as a joke, even in a meta sense? His "rebirth" was sort of as him being a servant to his sister, and even that episode was called "The Broken Man", yet they were referring to the Hound, not even Theon. Sort of like a jab to Theon, showing what a worthless joke he is. Even when he "sacrificed" himself to save Sansa earlier in the season it was like dark humor. His existence seems to be a joke, in every possible sense, on meta levels, his meaningful scenes seem to be intentionally an insult to his entire existence....

My hope is that he will redeem himself, and ultimately become the hero that he never was but always wanted to be, like "Brad Bellick" from "Prison Break".
How does he pee ?
>>70655137
Wow... You just discovered something that was discovered years ago... Retard.
What does /tv/ make of this genius marketing?
>>70655059
I love when horror films do this kind of silly shit. I hope there's really a priest there.
>>70655059
They did the same shit with the exorcist.
>>70655059
It's pretty good marketing for naive people and younger folks. This shit worked a lot in the past, it's nice to see it still going on, even if it's for stupid normies
Is Fringe a good show?
It starts to get a bit ridiculous about 2/3 of the way through season 3, but yes. The first two seasons are especially good.
its one of the greatest shows of all time if you stop at the end of season 3
the thing this show did better than anything else of its kind, is that it wrapped up plot lines entirely
the writers didn't just make shit up and then never explain it, like Lost
Something weird as shit would happen, and then halfway through the season you get a complete explanation, and move on to something else
if you like the main character you eventually get to see her 'twin' too, which is fun, the actress is good for a TV show.
also one of the best uses of a Bowie song, I credit this show for making it popular again
