Well that was fucking awful. When did this meme that James Wan is a good director start?
i thought it was a good movie, but it's easy to say every horror movie in the entire genre ever made is terrible.
it's horror.
it follows a predictable formula.
I laughed at a lot of it. The scene in the basement with the mom where the ghost does the clap from the game the kids were playing. Dumb as fuck.

Sign of Autism is to laugh at inappropriate cues.
I had a group of them in front of me watching The Prisoner. Or Down Syndrome, either or.
Just saw this in comedy masterflick
Was it any good ?
>>70692436
Yeah
>>70692455

Who's ready for some GIRL POWER on WALL STREET?
I'll admit, it doesn't look very interesting.
I can be a sociopath destroying the country AND a woman? How empowering.

Almost better than Seinfeld.
No it's not on Netflix.

Its ridiculous that no one on here has seen this masterpiece
Doing my rewatch now since his passing, absolutely brilliant. Top 5ish series of all time up there w/ Sopranos, Mad Men, Wire, yeah Seinfeld. Incisive/meta, hilarious, Hank, all the celebrity cameos used to great effect, how much of a creep Larry/Garry lets himself be, so much going for it.
Apparently he worked out a deal w/ HBO before his death to stream it in HD soon but I couldnt wait, watching shitty quality rips but I tell myself thats how they aired anyway
I'm reading the script for No Country for Old Men and every once in a while during a conversation they write "A beat."
I couldn't find anything on it. Is this to keep track of the pace of the scene or something?
simply googling "beat script" gives you your answer
>>70692177
It's a noticeable verbal pause before the dialogue picks back up.
>>70692177
a line or action which is a noticeable in the script which changes characters in someway
Who would win?
my dick
Daisy's power is pretty OP
>>70692055
River was pretty hardcore honestly.
ITT: Times /tv/ convinced you a flick was a film, but watching it it turned out to be pure kino all along
Pic related.

Hey, it's the movie that I watched the other day. God damn, that MC was such an anime-style huge fucking faggot. I'm so glad he got fucked at the end.
I definitely wouldn't call it a film.
baby's first sci-fi
>man makes sex robot to entice other male
>both die
Its the gayest shit I've ever scene
>>70692376
Good sci-fi doesn't end with a shitty genre ending like Ex-Machina did
When did you drop RT?

when I stopped listening to TOP CRITICS. I just try to weed through the bullshit of audience reviews, when they complain about the movie being a good action movie (if you're into that sort of thing) or whatever.
I look for the bad reviews that compliment the movie, basically. I'd read the TOP CRITICS review, if I wanted to listen to shills.

That film is fucking terrible though, people are retarded.

Come on guys what the holy fuck
Is it bad that I've started to like this movie?
After first seeing it a couple years ago I genuinely thought it was as much of an overrated turd as /tv/ liked to point out, but upon rewatchings I've realized that it actually resonates with me. I feel like it captured the "stages" of growing up in a way that felt genuine.
"couple of years ago"
man time flies. Also 2014; what an AMAZNG movie year, can't believe how poor 2015 was comparison.
fucking Whiplash, Birdman , Gone Girl, The Imitation Game, Nightcrawler, The Grand Budapest Hotel
even the pleb action and capeshit movies were great:Days of Future Past, Big Hero 6, John Wick, Interstellar, Guardians of the Galaxy, Winter Soldier , Intersteller, Fury , American Sniper , Edge of Tomorrow, 22 jump street, The LEGO Movie, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Kingsman: The Secret Service
was 2014 the best movie year ever?
I liked it since I first saw it. Only true plebs think every movie needs a story-driven plot. Yeah the 12 years thing is a gimmick, but the fact that they still made it is impressive and it actually works to the movie's benefit.
>>70691464
I think all of his movies are good, specially before sunset.
What do you guys think of Sicario 2?
>Del Toro and Brolin confirmed
>Blunt is out
>Villenueve replaced with Stefano Sollima
>title will be "Soldado"
>written by Sicario writer Taylor Sheriden
>>70691433
into the bargain bin it goes
>>70691433
>Blunt is out
Based as fuck
i dont think it needs a sequel
Could they make bond anymore dull and uninteresting. jeez. This movie is so dark and depressing no wonder Craig wanted to slash his wrists after this crap.
>>70691156
Stick with Die Another Day, kiddo. I'm sure Brosnan's flicks are more your speed.
Craig is best bond.
Bourne+Nolan = Skyfall
>implying he wasn't the best character
>implying based puddy isn't the best character
>>70691118
I think the dad in Everyone Loves Raymond was better
>>70691118
Was he typecast or can he really only play one character
