I'm going to a poor country which requires visa on arrival. One of the requirements is that I have $500+, I have it in cash.
Am I supposed to carry this with me and show it to them when getting the visa?
I would think a bank statement would be easier. But you know who would know the answer to what they require...?

I see the confusion.
I wanted to know whether to put cash into my checked-in luggage or to carry it on me. On one hand there's pick pockets, or the other hand you can get into a suitcase just by using a pen on the zip.
