Flights from LAX to any western europe city should be under a grand. Look into klm (amsterdam), air france (paris),.. Dont use SFO, more expensive.

So many -- so flippin' many Brits are obsessed with Vegas, I'd be amazed if there wasn't enough competition to drive the price of a round-trip under a grand. Check off-season rates; January, May, October.
