They also really, really love to sing karaoke with friends and colleagues like lots of Asians.
They are just about relevant enough that learning Korean is not a complete waste of your time.
Live in Seoul or, maybe, Busan or Jeju. There's not much going elsewhere as far as I can see. I spent a couple of months in a "city" outside Seoul - it was dull as fuck and the food was very mediocre. Seoul, on the other hand, much better in all regards.
Huge numbers of ESL teachers. It's big business over there. ESL teachers have a definite mildly negative stigma but many of them do overcome it.

If you live in Seoul you can get laid by a different girl every night. But, you'll have to work ridiculous hours like 9-6 weekdays and 8-6 every other Saturday.
If you choose a smaller city the hours are not so bad, but few people will speak English and you'll be bored quickly.
Gay meet ups aren't hard to find in Seoul. There's even one in Busan. But I'd recommend sticking to online organization due to the stigma.

Better get a bubble ready. Korean food is notoriously reliant on garlic and shrimps. That means no soon dobu, kimchi or other delicacies for you.
