come to germany mate

In Sweden it's free, just make sure you go to one of the Top-tier universities. I think Denmark is free as well.

The tuition is free in Denmark, but the living costs are very high

Would you suggest any particular area? I have been to Berlin and loved it there. Are there any universities that teach their programs only in English? I don't speak German. This goes for Norway, Denmark, Sweden, etc.

I'm an international student in Sweden and there's a lot of programs in English (more so on master level). Plenty of international students at my university as well (Lund). I'm sure it's the same in the other countries.

You can check this website:

Netherlands.

do you want to learn the language ?

if not, it's quite expensive for english program.

Good university in a progressive and unique city? Ghent, Belgium for sure.

germany is probably a good combination of high quality schooling, affordable living costs and affordable tuition. Note though that european universities are very different from US uni's.

Uni is free in Scotland and it eliminates the language barrier.

wouldn't study here. There are some top class diverse universities and I think the Netherlands have the highest number of degrees in English anywhere in Europe (except UK), the living cost are also considerably lower than Scandinavia and literally everyone speaks English. there's also a pretty big community of people who study here from other countries. And there a laid back cool liberal attitude. BUT you will still need to pay around 1800 euro annually. wich is not very cheap if you compare it with other European countries where it is free. But I don't know if you compensate it because living in Scandinavia is very expensive. still if I had to choose I would probably go for Germany because education is free or so I'm told and there's a pretty laid back attitude there, good quality education and its the living costs are not to expensive there, probably similar to the Netherlands.
>>
from memory - France, Germany, Finland have 0 or nominal (like 300EUR per year) tuition fees.
>>
Just because there are no tuition fees does not make it cheap.

Textbooks are still expensive as fuck
