Any hints on what you like, hobbies, interests, what your budget is,how much time you have?
"Going to X, what do?" does not give us much to work with.
The best way to experience Singapore is with lots of money. Shopping in the fancy malls, eat at the posh restaurants, a trip into the Casino and drink at the little bars and eat chilly crab around the "downtown core". Maybe visit universal studios during the day.
The view from marina bay sands is cool at the sunset and at night.
The Aquarium is Ok, The botanical gardens are Ok, most of Singapore is Ok but not great. The sentosa beach is awful.
Any reason to hop over to kuala lumpur for a few days or is there nothing to see/do besides those towers?

If going via land(obviously the case), try to avoid peak periods because its a clusterfuck of Malaysians. RM is low as shit right now so its great to shop at I suppose.

Just hit up the hawker centres, then visit some of the malls for your shopping fix. I hope you have lots of money. What else are you interested in other than eating?
