Fusion festival in Germany sounds like what you want. It's not in the desert but you can camp weeks after the festival is finished. Free drugs box from everyone leaving and s
They keep a stage open. Plus everyone is winding down or wants to keep partying so it sounds awesome.
4th of Juplaya is out at the spot burning man is at. It's pretty cool, there's no gates but you have to have a good survival camping set up. The playa is a fucking unreal place to be though, I saw the most incredible moonrise and in the day we ate psychs and shot my 12 gauge
