On pages like Urlaubspiraten (german website) there are often rather cheap offers and bargeins being broadcasted:

I'm considering, if I should give it a try for a spontaneous trip. But i wonder, if there are any risks involved that I don't see or know about.
Are spontanous long distance trips a smart decision at all? I wonder...
Has anyone here booked bargains trough such pages at all so far? Or is it mostly scamstuff?

I am not familiar with that particular site, but there are a number of scams out there.
By scams, I mean they will sell you a legitimate ticket, usually, but if anything at all goes wrong (and with air travel, things sometimes go wrong) the customer service is non-existent and the airline just refers you back to the sit e that sold you the ticket. Do your due-diligence on the site you buy tickets from -- and recall the thing about deals that are too good to be true.

Also you can search for hotel ratings on pages likr TripAdvisor if you are not sure.
No idea about the websites you mentioned.
But spontaneous trips always turned out great for me. They always reminded me what life is about.
