Well, if you appreciate a geographically and mentally tiny place with a population that can only compete with the bleeming Dutch when it comes to being petite bourgeoisie, then go to Denmark.
And there are no real woods, or mountains, in Denmark. You could just as well stay where you are.
Kiruna, Sweden. Talk about frozen.

Dane here, I'd say for the nature interested Sweden is probably better. Copenhagen is very nice though and Christiania is a must go, very special atmosphere.

If youre rich, definitely check out the ice hotel in Kautokenio, Norway.It's actually above Sweden in the arctic circle and if staring at the northern lights in a cozy glass dome is your thing, nature's fireworks will be something you never forget.
Even if you're not rich, you got a year to save...
Also, Denmark is a flat farmland FYI, no frozen woods to be found.

Well, we do have woods and we do have snow so frozen woods are to be found, but not in the quantity or size of our neighbours.
