India is awesome in that it is so very diverse (source: lived there for six years with my girlfriend and still regularily goes there).

Cultural Shit: There are a so many different places to go, different people to meet, the history of India is really interesting, it's a great story IMO. You should have some great photography options.

Actual Shit: This isn't just a meme, there's shit everywhere. Hygiene in general isn't very good. I used to not pay much attention to such things but after I got really sick in the Philippines my attitude changed. Even if you are careful sometimes illness is just unavoidable.
