I've commissioned from Miles-DF and Veramundis
This was when miles still had some effort put into his shiny plastic doll people. It was quick; however, he doesn't really pay attention to things written on your ref sheet if you have one. Like, I said it was a hybrid face and he stuck straight with dragon, even though it was clear there was a difference. He did make small changes that were necessary to the design, like changing the nails from the weird flat ones to ones that actually stuck out like a dragon's. IF you have a super difficult character you might have issues with communicating with him.
As for Veramundis, he's STILL drawing the art I commissioned him in November(?) Somewhere around that time. He will distort your character's design, and sometimes leave out important details in favour of something that may look aesthetically pleasing to him, but may detract from the design's purpose (which i am not pleased about, but it's been so many months now I don't want to mention it anymore). He has great art, is a nice person to work with, gives you updates if he's taking a long time, but damn if he can't follow the instructions. That's good when you're doing personal work, but not commission work.

There's a really good reason for that. If you're taking animation commissions, you're going to WANT it not to be private. that stuff can take days to weeks to do, and that's time you could have spent posting other things and having exposure time. To have a private animation commission makes you appear inactive, and in the furry fandom, posting a lot is everything. I don't agree with that appeal but it's the way it rolls.
