That's a difficult point to bring up, but honestly, there's not much I can do against that sort of stuff if I tried. I'd lose sleep and time preparing dozens of proxies and how I write things. I can understand that, and I admit I've had trouble with clingy people in the past. Part of why I enjoy /trash/ as a medium for RPing is that no one can contact me regularly.
The important thing is to not actually be clingy. Be a nice person, don't try to converse with them every hour of every day, leave them in silence if they don't want to talk and don't be too pushy for a reply. Try to be able to hold a conversation if one comes up, or to be able to pull out funny pictures or interesting facts to start conversations or just keep in contact instead of fading away. And listen to my advice with a grain of salt - I'm no expert, and everyone will want something different.

Nah, I'm never *THAT* clingy. I've dealt with people like that and it's way too troublesome, and it's always come natural to not act the same way anyways. Never really had any drama in my friendships or erp partners.
But regardless, that's why these threads are so appealing to people, it's just a quick pop-in, erp, get off, no strings attached kinda deal unless someone wants to make it that way and keep in contact with others through other mediums.
So if said person were to turn me down, no hard feelings, I'd be let down I miss out on a fun person to do things with in the future unless they keep popping in the threads.
