1)Practice hands and feet(in this case, paws), don't be afraid of them.
2)Proportions, keep everything in proportion or it'll look awful
3)Shadows. Bear in mind where a shadow may be.
4)Learn to draw humans skillfully, then move to furries, paws may be hard to draw depending on the level of detail you want to add.
