I like to ship Steven with the Gems romantically (when he's of consenting age of course) because I think it's fun to put a romantic spin on it, and it would be interesting to see how it would start, how it would continue and how it would end.
You could just take the easy way out and have the explanation be "He's Rose 2.0!" or you could go with something darker like "What if Connie died from war/natural causes/old age and Steven falls in love with one of the Gems?" And would they have to hide their love away? Would it end with them forming a permanent fusion?

Steven's Birthday doesn't seem like it'll have any particular plot relevance, but will still have char dev for Steven. And, if Garnet keeps her promise, we'll get to see Ruby and Sapphire again.
It Could've Been Great already sounds forboding. Yeah, I can imagine Peridot betrayel/Pearl fucking up majorly again ruining their trip to the moon.
Message Received is prolly gonna be a callback to The Message, where Lapis tells Steven that he should run and not try to fight HW. And the description seems to suit Lapis' pessism and hatred of the CGs. Which could mean a proper reappearance of Lapis. Yay.
Log Date 7 15 2 could go two ways. It could be a comfy filler ep where Steven learns about Peridot's cute side through what is essentially her private diary. But it's the last episode of a Bomb, so it won't be. Instead, it'll be a serious episode where Steven either learns that Peridot is planning to betray them, or some other grave thing about their situation that she's been hiding from them.

We got a 1 min preview of The Answer, it's full flashback mode with Garnet telling how ruby and sapphire met as steven's birthday present at midnight on his birthday.
Apparently it'll be taking inspiration from a silhouette movie thing.
Steven's Birthday will follow up from that. Most likely it'll be steven trying to have a party while everyone's busy working, leading him to recognize that there are more important things going on.
It Could've Been great is pure mystery but will likely have some huge bomb. I'd believe Peridot betraying the CGs and escaping via some moon base, with the title being a remark from Steven on how it'd have been if she had trusted them.
Message Received is clearly going to be about homeworld sending a response to Peridot's distress message, most likely with Yellow Diamond finally making a video appearance. If Peridot bolted prior, this could be the reason and they find it too late.
Log Date will be Peridot deciding whether to stay or go (to her log of course) either after hearing the message from YD or after they had seen the message.
I don't really think it'll have her leave in the middle though. The straightforward path would have her deciding to stay with the CGs after a lot of inner turmoil within her log.
