You take the first step up to the entrance. And, to your delight, nothing bad's hapenned yet.

Green and black marble patterns covered the walls and floor, with some rectangular mirrors to either side of you, going up to the intercomm.
One of the lightbulbs in the lamp hanging above you had died out, you note.
And you're fairly ceratin that either the ground is uneven, or that table has one leg shorter than the other.
You walk up to the intercomm, and note that a few buttons are missing, but not the one you're intereseted in.
And the list of tennants seems to have faded out, as only unintelligible smudges of ink covered it.
You also notice that the door isn't closed.

As you try to set the piece of beige plastic back into its place, you repeat the process of removing and pushing the button back in, and continue to do so half a dozen times.

The mild amusement you heard from one of your companions has quickly turned to embarassment. Or so you assume, due to the lack of any other reaction.

Rufus : So, neither of you've been here before?
Laurel : No. Ty invited us once but I declined. I was always kinda scared of Officer Malthus.
