Christ, I don't redraw the whole thing, I just move the vectors around. No matter what though, many smaller adjustments are needed to eliminate overhang if, especially if you're OCD like me and need it perfect.
But really, I could totally do the animation for as low as one good same-size vore picture of Sam as I described(no deviantart shite) and maybe a quick sketch or greentext. I'd use your guys' advice and just use a static image, so the character wouldn't move or look alive, crisp, or animated while being sucked down, but it would be the animation for a much more reasonable price.
