Without good development, yes. This show is all about forgiveness and not dwelling in the past. Think about all of the serious shit the CGs have done to each other and they are longtime comrades. What happened with Jasper and Lapis was in a war setting, too. Peridot was the other badguy in the ship and her confirmed interrogator no less, as how long did it take or Lapis to be alright with literally moving in with her? Less than a day.
They seemed to even team up at the end there in SWI to beat the CGs, not before Jasper said that she was impressed with Lapis' fortitude. I don't doubt that the whole experience will still be a hang up or both them for a time to come, of course (though notice the issue Lapis had with the fusion so far is only the being in the deep dark water part, as she says in Barn Mates).
But seeing a stable Malachite and seeing how she'd look (and sound! she needs a voice) under better circumstances is top priority to me platonic or not, though it is a long time coming.
