I mean, it's okay if it works for you, but the issue I have with Jack is that he was originally supposed to be Indiana Jones, exploring dangerous word and stuff.
Now he's seein like super cool James Bond. There's no place for him in this story - he's just too cool for school.

If we are going to be logical about it, it's really just a literary device to show that Calvin's infatuation is not just blind lust, which is to say that They both get along well enough to chat regularly online and have a (relatively) close relationship. You can find plenty online. Start off with little paragraphs, move onto short stories, and you can stay there or try your hand at multi-chapter stories.

Elective Amnesia made me mad. It had a good start, but after they turned in their conflicting reports, i think the story went south pretty fast.
Mostly because Nick is the cynical always correct victim while Judy is just an incompetent idiot.
She becomes convinced the fox who was actually framed committed the crime, then starts dating the victim of the crime during the case. Except it turns out he was the criminal all along. And Nick has to use vigilante justice to save the day.
Then the last chapter is basically just Judy feeling bad for being wrong and then Nick forgiving her because hes just a great guy.
