You're saying that if there were no more Grimm on Remnant, then there would be strife and a mess of other problems as a result.
A mess of problems among HUMANS (And we'll lump Faunus in with them for the sake of it). Hunters out of a job, corporations and governments looking to expand out into a now untapped world, potential wars, and so on.
Which are much better issues to have than than the alternative.
Because in one scenario, it's humans having problems with other humans ONLY.
Humans can be reasoned with. Diplomacy is an option. Compromise is an option. Wars eventually end. Humans adapt to changes.
The Grimm can not be reasoned with. Diplomacy with Grimm is not an option. Compromising with the Grimm is not an option. War with the Grimm will never end in a conventional way. The only thing the Grimm do is adapt, and adaptation for Grimm just means learning how to kill humans better.
And you'd need to do this while also doing all of that shit mentioned above with other humans anyway.
So why in the Hell wouldn't humanity wipe out the Grimm for good if they had a means to?
A few decades to sort all of their shit out is a much, much better problem to have than an infinite war against unrelenting monsters that never falter. Remnant can't advance if they're forced to contend with Grimm for all of their existence, but they CAN advance if the Grimm are gone.
Ergo, the problems that surface from the removal of Grimm ARE good issues to have, since it means the biggest problem they face is now gone and they can finally evolve as a civilization.
