The start of volume 2 was the start of a new semester
Volume 3 had to have been at least a few weeks if not a couple of months so they could set up the tournment, at least enough time for the seasons to change from what seemed to be Fall, to Winter since team RNJR left when it was snowing.
And then there's probably at least a couple of months since then to the start of Vol 4, but that's based SOLEY on every one from JNR's hair growing out.
But I'd wager it's been at LEAST a year since Vol 1, in universe, so she'd be 16.
