Chapter 1 critiques (more on the way, Chapter two incoming)

So right off the bat, my only immediate issue is that this is a lot of telling rather than showing. For example,

Imagine it. Take the reader there. They're not even supposed to see the author working behind the scenes.

Awkward dialogue. Take this chance to divulge Jude's character.

This is good, I'm enjoying the set pieces.
Only major issue is a lot of tell and not show, but you've got the writing down pat. I'll head to chapter two. The sex scene was good, but I'm not gay so I couldn't tell you if it was REALLY good. Detail wise though, it was quite interesting to read.
