I think the combat is more interesting than most mmos. Placement of units is important for laying traps and hitting with certain spells. Plus many classes have support roles, so it's best played in groups.
Downsides are you're limited to that isometric view, so environments feel small, the quests are very "kill 15 boars" and the mobs are non-hostile, so there's no feeling of threat and progression as any lvl1 player can walk anywhere.

There's an episode for Nox that's recommended before Wakfu's season 1 finale and the Ogrest one may be important for the Wakfu OVAs. There's also a wakfu 'manga' but it's still ongoing and doesn't impact much.

/aco/ at its base is intended as a containment board for /co/, and in lesser measures /tg/, which was just having too many lewd threads. Then again, that gave a change of pace from all the capes threads. But since at least half of the lewd shit on /co/ is "furry" in some way, the board utterly failed at its primary purpose by excluding furry content. I'm guessing they did that because 4chan is still keeping up with that old SA joke, or maybe they feared the board would drown in furry content (and I suppose /trash/ isn't exactly proving them wrong).
But given the massive proliferation of furfaggotry both on /co/ and in /co/-related material, the ban was just retarded. Wakfu is a good example, because do the Ecaflip and Pandawa have muzzles? I would say not, but apparently they do! What about Callie Briggs? In half the art I've seen of her she doesn't even have fur.
