That picture of Proto-RA has the sisters up against the window like they were in the Heavy Meddle episode. So the original conflict of the episode probably wasn't Lincoln dealing with a bully, it was confessing to a girl he liked.
I guess that's why proto-RA is on-screen during this and current RA is off-screen. Punches are too violent.
