I approve of all the gem/gem ships because I enjoy exploring the dynamics of all the characters, and shipping is one way of doing that. I really like the idea of endgame Jaspis in particular, and I truly think it would be a waste, as well as very unlikely, that Jasper won't return and have a significant role.
I already said it in the last thread, but Jasper's design is obviously based on pic related, a character from an anime that Sugar loved who starts out as a tough antagonist and ends up becoming the lovable awkward buff party member. We know SU takes a lot of inspiration from older media so we know that it's unlikely to be a coincidence.
