And not just for president. President really does not mean anything since Congress is the one in control. Just means which one of the two political parties gets to laugh for four or eight years.

Just because the names are given on the ballet does not mean you have to vote for them. It is YOUR vote. Not theirs. If you do not like one of the candidates but hate the other more, why would you still vote for the one you dislike? Why vote for the lesser of given evils when you not want any of them. If you do not know any of the names given, Why would you vote for any of them? If you don't want any of them, then TELL THEM.
If a large number of people start writing in 'None of the Above' instead of choosing one of the candidates, they will take notice. This is the perfect year to vote for what really matters.
Now, if you really truly want to vote for the person, and truly think they are perfect for the position of power, then do so. It is your vote. But I know many are not wanting any of them.
And do not put a fake/joke name like Adolf Hitler or Cthulhu, for those will just be ignored. Doing this really is just throwing your vote away. If everyone writes in the same message, 'None of the Above', they will have to realize that a large number of their voters have had enough and are wanting for a real change.
Yes, someone is going to win, but do not think that doing this will not matter. If the numbers are noticeable, then they are going to win knowing that a lot of the people would rather have a vacant chair in the oval office than them sitting in it.
