It's odd, I love seeing Fluffies suffer from their own stupidity, bit at the same time I realize their lack of basic survival instincts and common sense isn't their fault, but rather a sad consequence of their imperfect and incomplete programming. Fluffies will never know any better because they aren't meant to, and that's really fucking tragic.
Perhaps (and this may just be my autism speaking here) Fluffies aren't just a form sick entertainment for edgy teens and weird fetishists, but also a dark and very twisted fable about why Man should be careful when he tampers with nature. Anyway, my two cents.

Fiction tends to evolve to speak to larger themes. Failing to do so, it exhausts its original potential, gets boring, and its audience moves on to something else.
Fictions are also a mirror. We see aspects of ourselves. You see an element of grim satire, but you take away from it the hopeful sense that these sorts of horrors can be avoided in real life by learning from them in this form.
For my part, I see a profound nihilism. On the surface, you have the edgy kids being brutal and gruesome as a rebellion against the behavioral constraints of society. That's not necessarily abnormal. Below that, there's the fetishists, and I'm sure they're aware that they're objectively evil. But they have to be given credit for expressing their cruelty on imaginary victims. The whole thing, though, the helplessness and inescapable bleakness, it speaks of a very dark and hopeless worldview. It's like a sort of hell, where every nice thing is just there so you can suffer when you're forcibly deprived of it.
