The smell of crisp skin is clear in the air as your helmet tries to filter it all out from your ventilation.
The blast doors collapses from the sheer destruction of itself and smashes the bodies beneath, splattering them everywhere.

The halls of the main facility are scattered of the bodies of the crew and some other soldiers.
They already beat us inside?
Then that means the threat came from within.
Stefen: "Ahh, shit. Do you guys have your filters on?"

You all arrive into the main hall in disarray.
The residents here put up quite a defense, forming barricades from chairs, benches and just about anything you can find.
Even the dead bodies are thrown in front to build the wall higher.
But they were overrun nonetheless.
From the looks of the positioning of the blockade, they were holding their ground from one of the empty elevator shafts.
One man in particular is sitting on the ground, leaning against the fortification with a large gaping hole within his chest chest.
He is wearing the same armor as you but in a different color, the nameplate reads "Apricot".
He has a revolver firmly grasped in his hand.

The numbers on the active elevator says 250, and it slowly counts down.

Yulia mounts her gigantic weapon by the corner in a retractable bipod.
You also jump behind the line and help Saek over.
Saek: "Jasper, if I ever don't make it back I want you to open the contents of my locker. Combination OTPST13. There will be a book there, I want you to destroy it."
"That's an...odd last wish."
Saek: "Just do it. No questions asked. How about you?"
You take a moment to reflect on what you hold precious in your life.

You both slap your palms together and give it a good shake.
And now we wait.
The terror screams surfaces from the entrance.

A gurgle of blood and squelching emerge from the broken elevator.

It looks like a 8 month unborn fetus crawling and crying out, it's placental membrane still leaving a trail to wherever it goes.
There are little horns jutting out from it's large head as it tugs on the pink cord on it's stomach.
It starts screeching at all of you.

You don't even need your gun for this kind of shit.
The writhing cords try to pull you down and choke your neck but you easily overpower them and rip it apart.
A deformed human crawls out from the shaft, she's missing her lower stomach which connects as the source of where the babies are tethered to.
The large fluid filled sacs adorned around its body pulsate at a very fast rate as she screams in screeching agony.
The creature looks similar to the one that killed Kep but this time it's a woman.

There are no cords with them but the spawns are still dropping out from their open stomachs.

She screams in agony has white smoke emerges from her suit as she hurriedly tries to take it off.
Stefen rushes over to her aid and tries to help her, burning his gloves in the process
Saek is picking off the little creepy crawlers on the floor and the walls, trying to keep them off Smoke and Stefen's position.
Saek: "Jasper! I need you to push anything back down that comes out of that shaft!"
You can hear Yulia yelling as the corrosive substance eats through her.
Her hands are pressed on visor as Soap tries to take her helmet off.

You start walking back and shooting the continuous monstrous assault until one of the explosions came too close and knocks you back.
You are a bit dazed but you keep firing until you hear the click Sarge gives you.
You pull one of your grenades and frag one of them to kingdom come.
You are inside the elevator now as Saek lays down fire until the door closes and starts ascending.
The hum and peace of the elevator lets you catch your breath and prop yourself back up again.
