It's a relatively slow board that has all the furry porn and pony porn I could ever want, along with some decent discussion topics from time to time. Since this board isn't blatantly advertised, it doesn't get the traffic /b/ gets, and by extension the user base here is surprisingly chill.

Once upon a time /mlp/ was a fun place with little restrictions and lots of freedom from both the moderation and users. Then that was taken away and gradually the userbase became everything I hated. Sad to see what was once my home slowly dying. Took a look at the daily activity chart on the archive and noticed it had its lowest dip in activity in the boards history the same weekend this board went up. Ah well, those shits made their bed and they will lay in it. Also the idea of a 4chan melting pot is pretty fucking radical and so far has been a resounding success I'd say.
