They’ve basically killed their fanbase outside of RWBY and RvB (and RvB is dying) since people don't know who any of these new studios and crossovera are and are leaving because they don't wanna watch some nobody talk to a camera for 5 minutes.
Seriously, the amount of shit in the video feed is ridiculous, and they'be made no attempt to make it easier for people to shift through it.
Even people in RT are jumping ship, and I don't blame them.
Remember 2013 and 2014, when all of us used to be hyped for the next GTA LP and the next stupid Ray meme? Now there's only a select few of us who still watch AH, and we have to cherrypick from the few decent videos to even find something to talk about.
The RT forums are dead, Tumblr only has RWBY fans and maybe a select few AH stragglers (Nowhere near how many it used to have), we're only here for RWBY, and the RT subreddit is a sinking ship in denial of the fact that it's sinking.

The only thing FS has to do with any of that is that they're throwing mad money at RT to make new productions.
RT is an expanding company, they're getting bigger all the time. Dedicated 2D and 3D teams, bigger live action, bigger AH. AH posted a list of their employees on twitter, and there was nearly half a dozen of them I've never heard of or seen before. This is why AH moved buildings a while back, they needed more space.
They hadn't seen brandon because he's in Live Action and they probably needed more space, y'know with regular filming of stuff like MDB and upcoming releases on Day 5 and Crunch Time.
Geoff has even said that "Let's Play" is doing what he wanted it to do all along, bring internet "talent" together (probably because eventually he'll be in less meetings and get more chance to laugh at people or he likes suffering). I doubt that's a shill from Geoff for anything than his own idea.

I don't know about quality, but they certainly have more resources. RT Animation is gearing up to release three products - 3D, 2D and Machinima, and obviously starting production on the next thing.
"Quality" impacts on RWBY 3 had a lot to do with learning curve and growing pains than anything else.
I would argue that all RT content except RWBY has been on an average gradual downslope since mid-2013, except Heroes and Halfwits is my favourite thing to come out of AH since the old worms lets plays
