We weren't sure what to expect with the experimental P-201 plant-based B.O.W. series, but we certainly weren't expecting anything as exotic as Florian/Florianne. We were fairly sure we would be seeing a hermaphroditic baseline entity even in the early planning phases, but we didn't think it would lead to a specimen so readily able to shift gender to fit mood and need, as well as so readily willing to do so.
Florian/Florianne is something of an oddity in that he/she has two different personalities that express themselves independently, yet act as a cohesive whole. Any goal of one is the goal of the other, which has our psychoanalytical division in a state of absolute amazement. None of our programming algorithms indicated this result, nor was it planned for, but it's such a smooth and easy transition between one personality and the other that we can only conclude this is an entirely natural state for the series as a whole.
Florian/Florianne requires special care due to his/her sensitive nature, and as such is going to be kept in the facility greenhouse lab just off of the living quarters for the time being. Daily watering, feeding, fertilizing (sexual, of course) and sun lamp sessions will be provided to keep our prototype healthy and happy.
Thus far he/she has shown a remarkable fondness for the Hunter-model subjects, likely due to their shared liking of hot, humid environments. As such, expect to find them spending time together regularly.

Finally, a word of warning: I have been hearing that people have been calling him/her "it" rather than using the appropriate gender at the given time. I have also heard that people have been jokingly calling him/her the "Loliflower" or "Shota Bush". I don't have to tell you people that this is not only highly unprofessional, but hurtful to both our image and to Florian/Florianne's feelings. I expect a full apology from each staff member who has upset the prototype, with his/her determination of whether or not proper "recompense" needs to be made.
The first batch will be ready for release alongside the Hunter lines, and we expect big things in the future from our botanical department.
