With Ozpin gone, Glynda is probably acting headmistress of Beacon.
Granted, there are no students to actually look after, but finding a way to remove the Grimm from Beacon and doling out orders to the faculty (Who are, you know, hunters and huntresses) is probably going to fall on her now.
She may or may not be important to one of Volume 4's plot, potentially either Blake or Yang's, possibly both. If she is, then it's probably too late in the writing process to just write her out.
However, I don't think RT will fire her over it.

Yeah. I know that it shows that Shane and Monty may not have been able to work too well in a professional environment, or on a team not completely under their control, but there's more to it than that. When you take into account the mental state of the writer, it's really sad. Here's a man who was inspired by Monty, to say the least. Monty allowed him to truly follow his dream. A mentor, a friend, possibly a literal life saver. Then, Monty dies. RT, who have allowed Monty's eccentricities, possibly out of consideration for their friend, finally start to change things. Both parties try to honor Monty's vision in their own way. But Shane, who is struggling against a seemingly constant steam of depression, feels increasingly secluded as their two ideologies grow further and further apart. This isolation, this feeling of betrayal, it hits too close to home. I don't doubt some of this happened, but this whole situation seemed to spiral completely out of control due to everyone's inability to just sit down and REALLY talk things out. Maybe they did, and he just want receptive to it. With depression, that's always a distinct possibility. The whole thing is just sad.
