Posting this again in hopes of getting more feedback and suggestions.
Music anon here back from the dead, and I wanted to give an update on my project for those who care, as well as let you guys know what I have planned for the future.
I am aiming for this Monday to release an instrumental of my song "Dear Mother." A version with vocals will be released sometime after I build a ghetto vocal booth sometime next week, so hopefully that will be released over that weekend. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, here's a small snippit of the song that I posted a few weeks ago. Note that the mix has changed considerably since then.

Now, for my next projects, I wanted to expand out into other genres. I figured what better way to do that then to record music that fits in with each district of Zootopia? For that, I kinda want your guys help to decide on the genres. All of these tracks will likely be 100% instruments. Here's what I'm thinking so far:
Sahara Square: Egyptian/Arabic
Rainforest District: Tribal/African
Downtown: I'm thinking some kind of Jazz for this one, maybe big bop?
Tundratown: I can't decide whether to go with a winter themed genre or a sort of Godfather-esque track considering Mr. Big basically runs Tundratown

I'm stuck on what to use for Canal District, Meadowlands, and Savanna Central (one anon suggested an 80's film style of music). I was hoping to hear your suggestions on what I should do for these ones.

Somebody once told me that their headcanon was that Gideon's dad kicked him out of the house when he turned 18 because he suspected that he was gay.
