There are those large geodes that don't seem to do anything on the island, so there are probably regular gems. And I don't think the Gems would ever be surprised or bothered by humans using them as jewelry when their own society uses the sapient ones as batteries, and (so far) non-sapient ones in things like warp pads.

Yes, I had found it.
Couldn't really get a much clearer image, but imma say it's not jasper. There's clear black lines halfway the upper arms, implying a t-shirt, or at least a different design than jasper's. Plus her hair is never really blond, which I would call this, could be lighting though I suppose.
